Join certified kayak instructors and naturalists for a leisurely paddle on the Potomac River or one of its tributaries. We’ll paddle for three to four hours on moving water, so you need to be proficient at basic strokes and comfortable paddling for a few hours at a time. We’ll do a quick review of moving water safety considerations and maneuvers before getting on the water. Fee covers kayak, paddle, PFD, a dry bag, and round-trip transportation from Black Hill Regional Park to the river locations. Don’t forget to pack your lunch, snacks, and plenty of water.
