Need a break from your busy day? In this 45-minute class, experience a combination of movement and the restorative practice of yoga nidra, known as “yogic sleep”. The first half of class will be devoted to a gentle flow to release tension and prepare for the transistion to yoga nidra in the second half. Yoga nidra features breath awareness, body scanning, and visualization to guide you into a state of deep relaxation. The session wraps up with energizing techniques, such as breathwork and simple movements, to help you return to your day with clarity and focus. Perfect for anyone seeking a midday reset!
*NOTE: Class will not meet on Monday, October 12, 2026. This is a series of four Wednesday classes. Classes will be held inside the Major Jayne H. Plank Kensington Cabin Park Activity Building, with the opportunity to start the class outside if weather permits. All classes in the series are included in the one registration fee. Classes in the series are not offered on an individual basis. Please bring a yoga mat or two for comfort and a light blanket or towel. Chairs will be available for use. There is no parking lot for this park. Neighborhood street parking only. Registration is required. No walk-ins will be accepted.
