Let’s cast our lines and dive into the basics of freshwater fishing! Participants will learn how to tie knots, cast a spinning rod, learn fish identification, and more. We will focus on ethical catch and release techniques and spend a majority of the program fishing and practicing skills. Participants need to purchase a Maryland Nontidal Sport Fishing License prior to the workshop and have it with them when fishing. This is a catch and release program. This program will be held at the pavilion near Lake Needwood Boats.
