Get crafty with recyclables for animals! Meadowside Nature Center (MNC) is home to permanently injured, non-releasable birds of prey. These birds are offered enrichment objects that bring their wild homes to them. Structures made of recyclables and animal-safe materials invite the birds to flex their natural skills, such tearing, shredding, sensing colors or scents, hopping, or flying. This is where you come in! Join us in a group crafting session to create enrichment objects for owls, hawks, and a vulture.
Guests 14 and older can earn Student Service Learning Hours for their participation and may register as an independent participant. Children under 14 years must be accompanied by a caretaker.
