WaterFest

Come make a splash while learning about your local watershed through crafts, games, exhibitors, and activities!

Crafts and activities include: suncatchers, bubble fun, sprinklers, scavenger hunts and more! Learn about local watershed creatures including eels, frogs, water bugs, and beavers. 

Waterfest is a relaxed all-ages family-friendly event, with self-led activity stations set up around the property of Maydale Nature Classroom. No registration is required; visitors may come and go anytime. Activities will be available from 11am – 2pm.

What time is the event? When should I arrive? 

Activity stations will be set up for enjoyment from 11am – 2pm. Feel free to come and go anytime during these hours. 

Where do I park? 

Street parking will be available along Maydale Dr. and surrounding neighborhood streets. 

What if I need assistance getting from the street parking to the event? 

A golfcart shuttle will be providing rides from Maydale Dr. to the event. 

Are there any associated fees or registration? 

This event is free of charge, registration is not required. 

Are there any restrooms available? 

Restrooms and water are available inside Maydale Nature Classroom during the time of the event. 

What should I bring to be comfortable? 

Most activities will take place along the path or close to the parking lot of Maydale Nature Classroom. Prepare to be outdoors! There will be a small sprinkler set up in the grass and a bubble station. If you would like to enjoy our water feature, you may want to bring a towel.
