Hello! This summer I am going camp to at Wheaton Ice Arena!

It is at the Wheaton Indoor Tennis Facility, a big place with six indoor courts that make it cool and comfortable.
Before I Leave for Camp

Before I leave, I will pack my things. I will need:

A nut-free lunch and a snack

Cold-weather clothes

A helmet

A water bottle

My tennis shoes
I need to remember my helmet because I cannot skate without it.

Arriving at Camp
When I get to camp, I come in the front doors of the ice arena.

I turn right and walk down the hall to the table where my adult checks me in, making sure I have everything I need.
Getting Ready
The counselors help me make a name tag and show me the locker room where I put my things away.

Next, I go to the party room until everyone is here. In the party room, I can draw, play games, make friends, and more.
Bathroom Time

If I need to go to the bathroom, I ask a counselor and they will bring me.
Once everyone is here, we will hear about what we will do today. On Monday, we will practice an emergency drill by walking to the red building across the parking lot.

Time to Skate!

Later in the morning, we have our ice skating lessons! The counselors will help me get skates and get ready.
After our lessons, we eat lunch at the picnic tables outside. If we can’t eat outside, we may eat in the lobby area.

Other Activities

Ride the carousel

Walk to Wheaton Regional Park

Ride the miniature train

Go to Wheaton Indoor Tennis

In the afternoon, we have free-skate time to practice our skills and play with friends on the ice. Sometimes, there will be on-ice activities set up too!
Going Home
After all our fun activities are done, I wait for my adult to pick me up. We go back to the party room to draw, play games, play with friends, and more.

My adult signs me out, and I get my things from the locker room. I meet my adult in front of the party room.
