Wheaton, Md. – Celebrate autumn traditions at Montgomery Parks‘ annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the Agricultural History Farm Park in Derwood. The family-friendly festival features hayrides, historic crafts, live entertainment, and hands-on activities that bring Montgomery County’s agricultural heritage to life.

When: Saturday, October 3, 2026 | 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Agricultural History Farm Park | 18400 Muncaster Road, Derwood, MD
Cost: $20 per car. Cash only.
In addition to the farm fun, visitors can enjoy live performances by the Uncle Devin Show, Washington Revels, Heritage Voices, and the Tumbleweeds. Puppeteer Schroeder Cherry will also engage the crowd, along with sheepdog herding demonstrations by Flying Circus Farm. Park Police Mounted Patrol, K-9 units, Detectives, and Community Services Officers will be on hand to greet the public, answer questions, and engage with community members throughout the event.
“Harvest Festival is one of Montgomery Parks’ most beloved traditions because it offers families the opportunity to experience traditional crafts through hands-on activities and demonstrations,” said Miti Figueredo, director of Montgomery Parks. “We’re excited to welcome visitors back to the farm for a day that celebrates both our agricultural heritage and our community.”
