WHEATON, Md. – Sometimes we all just need to rock out and Montgomery Parks is bringing the beat to Cabin John Regional Park on Friday mornings from September 25 through October 16, 2026, with Little Jams, a free concert series made for kids and families.
The series gets off to a high-energy start with La Unica, bringing their lively Irish Latin Rock sound to the Cabin John Amphitheater. Each Friday features a different style of music, giving adults and kids alike no excuse not to dance, sing, or just enjoy a Friday morning outdoors together.
Concerts run from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Guests are encouraged to bring their own snacks and beverages. There will be no food or drink vendors on site during the performances.
“Little Jams is all about giving kids and adults a fun, welcoming place to dance, laugh, and enjoy great music together,” said Michael Coppersmith, director of Montgomery Parks Activation. “These concerts transform an ordinary Friday morning into a celebration of music, community, and time spent together.”
