This gentle yoga flow class aims to help students feel more comfortable and confident in their bodies. Each class will include: community, setting and discussion of a body-positive intention or mantra (such as “Thank you body”), breathing exercises, yoga poses and flow, and savasana with meditation on intention. Modification will be offered for all poses, because no two bodies are the same!
*NOTE: Students should dress comfortably and bring a yoga mat. This class is appropriate for beginners and students with experience. Classes are held in the Mayor Jayne H. Plank Kensington Cabin Park Activity Building located on park grounds. There is no parking lot for this park. Neighborhood street parking only. Registration is required. No walk-ins will be accepted.
