Fun on the Farm: Bird Feeders and Suet Cages - July 16

Join us for Fun on the Farm, a weekly summer program where kids can dive into farm-themed arts and crafts activities, all while learning about the history and significance of their masterpieces! It’s a perfect opportunity for kids to get out of the house, unplug, and have fun while getting hands-on with creative projects and learning about the exciting world of agriculture!

Get ready to explore local wildlife through this nature-meets-craft birdfeeder program! Students will learn about the important roles wildlife play in our local ecosystem while creating birdfeeders using materials found in nature. They’ll also learn all about how birds create their own habitats, and make their own suet cages with some of those necessary materials.

Please keep in mind that this activity involves nuts and seeds that some people may be allergic to.

This is a drop-off program, but parents are welcome to hang around the farm park during the class. Please be sure to dress for the weather and bring water.
