Project Overview
As part of an effort to enhance visitor experiences along county trails, Montgomery Parks sought input from trail users throughout the county. Understanding the types of activities people enjoy and the topics or interpretive elements they might like to see will help shape the development of new materials, programs, and enhancements.
From March through June 2026 an online survey was available for people who use natural surface and paved surface trails in Montgomery Parks. We received more than 500 responses.
Status/Project Update
The project is currently in the audience study phase.
An online survey was open for all park patrons from March through June 2026. Trail users were reached through trail postings, digital outreach, and a handful of pop-up events. More than 500 people completed the survey.
Results are currently being analyzed. Stay tuned for updates in fall 2026.
