Come view the iconic monuments of Washington D.C. by kayak. We will travel by van from Black Hill to the Tidal Basin and then enjoy fabulous views as we paddle upriver past monuments, the Kennedy Center, and Georgetown. Bring a bagged lunch to enjoy when we stop at Roosevelt Island for a break. You should be proficient at strokes and comfortable paddling for a few hours, at a time. We’ll do a quick review of moving water safety and maneuvers. This is not a paddling trip for novices, and it is not instructional. Fee covers kayaks, paddles, PFD, dry bag, and round-trip transportation. FOBH $95.
