Calling All Little Musicians and Performers
On May 29 at Sligo-Dennis Avenue Local Park (10200 Sligo Creek Parkway, Silver Spring, MD 20902), join Montgomery Parks from 10 to 11 am for a Parks Playhouse Junior event—live performance by Marsha and the Positrons.
Make sure to prepare for each event by bringing your sunny day gear and blankets or lawn chairs for viewing. Make it a mid-morning picnic by bringing along your favorite snacks and treats to munch on while you enjoy the show. This performance is for children of all ages.

About the Performance
Marsha and the Positrons specialize in fun songs about science & how the world works with positive social messages! The Washington Post says this DC-based kindie (kids + indie) band is “…among the Washington area’s most creative and distinctive” children’s musicians.
