Calling All Little Musicians and Performers
On Wednesday, June 12, at Germantown Town Center Urban Park (19840 Century Boulevard, Germantown, MD 20874), join Montgomery Parks from 10 to 11 am for a Parks Playhouse Junior event. Puppet show to be performed by Glen Echo’s beloved The Puppet Co.
Make sure to prepare for each event by bringing your sunny day gear and blankets or lawn chairs for viewing. Make it a mid-morning picnic by bringing along your favorite snacks and treats to munch on while you enjoy the show. This performance is for children of all ages.

About the Show
The Puppet Co. presents Hansel and Gretel, a German fairy tale of two kids who get lost in the woods and encounter a witch, originally adapted by Len, Patricia, and Christopher Piper. This musical version is over 50 years old, performed using marionettes, and is sure to charm you and your little ones.

- Free street parking is available along Pinnacle Drive and Locbury Drive.
- For Public Transportation take Bus #97 to Century Blvd & Pinnacle Drive (Stop ID 15004). Walk along Pinnacle drive with the Library on the left, and the park will be straight ahead.

What to Bring
- In addition to bringing your own seating, attendees are encouraged to prepare for the summer heat by wearing sunscreen, bringing a hat or head covering, and bringing their own water.
Pets
- Pets are allowed at all Parks Playhouse Junior performances. Pets must remain on a leash and in their owner’s control while on park property.
