Free Sunday Morning Concerts in the Spring

This spring, Montgomery Parks will host its Sunday Serenade Series, featuring easy-listening music, sweet snacks, and warm beverages to end your weekend on a high note.

Each Sunday will feature a different local musician or music group, with varying music genres. Please check each listing below for more details about the artists.

  • Where: Cabin John Regional Park
    • 7400 Tuckerman Ln, Bethesda, MD 20817
  • What to expect:
    • These events are for all ages.
    • Audience members are encouraged to bring their own snacks, blankets, and lawn chairs.

Local food vendor Ella’s Bake Shop will be on-site selling delicious pastries, Coffee and Tea each Sunday.

Sunday Serenade Spring 2025 Lineup

March 30 – ZADIA

ZADIA is an R&B and neo-soul singer-songwriter with jazz influences. Raised in Maryland, she was inspired by legendary artists like Billie Holiday, Anita Baker, and Sade. Recognizing her passion for singing, ZADIA began performing in choirs and collaborating with local artists.

April 6 – King Soul

Joining the Montgomery Parks’ lineup for the first time, King Soul is an eight-piece band delivering classic Southern Soul to a fresh audience. With original songs, strong vocals, and a killer horn section, they’ve become a top draw at local clubs and events.

April 13 – The Mardi Gras Kings

Zachary Smith has been performing on the East Coast for over 30 years. His band, Zachary Smith & the Mardi Gras Kings (formerly the “Dixie Power Trio”), mixes zydeco, Cajun, New Orleans jazz, and funk for high-energy and unforgettable performances.
