Originally developed in the 1960’s, Kemp Mill Urban Park was widely praised for its innovative, contemporary design. Located at the intersection of Arcola Avenue and Lamberton Drive, the park sits on more than 2.7 acres in the Kemp Mill neighborhood of Wheaton and includes a large water feature, an accessible playground, an accessible combination basketball and soccer court, benches, and several mature trees.
