Sunday Serenade - April 7

Shake off your “Sunday Scaries” and replace them with Sunday Serenades.

On April 7 at Cabin John Regional Park’s Amphitheater (7400 Tuckerman Ln, Bethesda, MD 20817), join Montgomery Parks from 10 am to 11:30 am for a Sunday Serenade event—live music to be performed by local music group the Eric Scott Band.

These events are for all ages. Audience members are encouraged to bring their own snacks, blankets, and lawn chairs. Local food vendor Ella’s Bake Shop will be on-site selling breakfast snack items. Invite your friends and family and make it a picnic in the park. Start your week off right by relaxing on the lawn and listening to live music at Sunday Serenade.

About the Artist

Washington, DC singer/songwriter and bassist Eric Scott has toured internationally, sharing the stage with B.B. King, Mavis Staples, Aaron Neville, REO Speedwagon, Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters, and many more. He has written, produced, and released 4 solo albums, and his music has been featured on ABC-TV, Showtime, Cinemax, and several indie and major motion pictures. Eric Scott examines relationships, the world we live in, and being one’s true self through his lyrics that are layered with pop tunes and hooks that meld together to create a groovy new school RnB and funk sound. For Scott, there has been true beauty in letting go and arriving at a place musically that feels like home.
