Parks Summer Concert Series: Loose Ties

Discover your new favorite band(s) at Parks Summer Concert Series

On Thursday, August 1 at North Four Corners Local Park (315 University Boulevard West
Silver Spring, MD 20901) join Montgomery Parks from 6 to 8 pm for a Parks Summer Concert event. Live music to be performed by international group Loose Ties.

These events are for all ages. Audience members are encouraged to bring their own snacks, blankets, and lawn chairs. Invite your friends and family and make it an evening picnic in the park. Wind down your week and enjoy this free, live music presentation.

About the Band

Based out of Annapolis, MD, Loose Ties are known for their upbeat, melody driven, touch your soul kind of music with vocal harmonies to match.  Influenced by bands like The Eagles, The Beatles, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Jason Mraz, Loose Ties music touches all over the musical spectrum.

Restrooms

  • An ADA-accessible portable restroom facility will be available on-site.

Food

  • Outside food is permitted at the event. There will be no food vendors on-site.

Pets

  • Dogs are permitted at these events but must be on a leash while on park property. Owners must pick up after their pet and dispose of any waste in the provided trash receptacles.

Parking/Transportation

  • Parking is limited on-site. Guests are encouraged to carpool or take public transportation.
  • For Public Transportation, take Bus #9, 19, C2, or C4 to University Blvd & Brunett Ave (Stop ID: 200372). The park will be directly in front of you. Walk past the soccer fields and turn left at the water fountains towards the playground and open field.

Seating

  • Seating will not be provided. Guests are encouraged to bring their own picnic blankets and chairs.

Cost

  • This concert is free to attend.
