We’ll travel by van to an Eastern Shore treasure, the Wye Island Natural Resource Management Area, exploring the many trails located around the island. Schoolhouse Woods Nature trail takes you through an old growth forest, while the Holly Tree Trail goes to a nearby 300-year-old holly tree. Other trails take you beneath a beautiful canopy of Osage orange trees leading to the Wye River. The natural surface trails are generally flat.
