Project Description
This project renovated the existing football field in Martin Luther King Park, located on Jackson Road, just east of the intersection with New Hampshire Avenue in Silver Spring. The natural grass football field was replaced with a synthetic turf field. The field size was expanded to accommodate soccer and lacrosse, in addition to football. The lighting was replaced, along with the bleachers, circulation pathway, accessible parking and access routes, and other supporting elements.
Status/Project Update
The field construction is complete.
