Description
This project renovates and replaces the existing playground in Dale Drive Neighborhood Park, located at 125 Dale Drive, Silver Spring, MD 20910.
Background
The existing playground will be removed and a completely new playground will be installed in its place. Local park playgrounds are typically 3,500 to 5,000 square feet in size and include playground equipment to meet the needs of children from ages 2 to 12. Typical types of equipment include swings, play structures, and smaller freestanding pieces of equipment such as spring rockers or spinning elements.
Status/Project Update
The concept plan is attached. Playground construction began in the fall of 2018. Project is now complete.
