WHEATON, Md.–Montgomery Parks is postponing the Bethesda Market Park virtual community meeting that was scheduled for June 14, 2023, while the partnership team continues to work on the concept plans for the future park. Parks will send out an announcement when a new date for the virtual meeting is scheduled.
The Bethesda Market Park is being developed in downtown Bethesda, near the historic Women’s Cooperative Farm Market and Elm Street Urban Park. When completed, the project will repurpose two nearby parking lots and provide nearly four acres of urban green space in downtown Bethesda.
Bethesda Market Park is a public/private partnership between Montgomery Parks, the Montgomery County Department of Transportation, the Town of Chevy Chase, Wisconsin Columbia Venture LLC, and EYA, LLC.
