Wine and Waterfowl

Join us for an evening of wine and waterfowl art at the Visitor Center. View the winners of the Federal Duck Stamp contest, and other local arts that highlight our feathered friends. As the sun sets, watch from our deck as resident waterfowl land on the lake for the night. Admission includes a small wine tasting, one glass of local wine from Rockland Farms and snacks. Additional items and wine available for purchase.

2023 Waterfowl Art Community Show

We will be hosting a community art show in tandem with our Wine & Waterfowl Night on February 11, 2023.

Submitted artwork must include a waterfowl or waterbird from or seen in Maryland as the subject matter.

Waterfowl are defined as ducks, geese, swans, coots, and grebes, while waterbirds are herons and egrets. Space is limited and preference will be given to work featuring native and overwintering species. We are accepting 1-2 pieces per artist for the Show. Any media is acceptable and there is no size limitation. Work will be hung based on subject matter and quality of craftsmanship.
