Registration CLOSED – Weed Warrior Workday at Seek Lane Park – NPLD

Save the trees and the Long Branch Stream Valley ecosystem and help us celebrate the 30th annual National Public Lands Day/(long) Weekend

Join us for a No School Day non-native, invasive plant removal workday at Seek Lane Park on Monday 9/25 at 1pm!

Please wear long pants that cover your ankles, long sleeves, and sturdy, closed-toed shoes. Gloves and tools are available to borrow if you don’t have your own. No power tools or machetes are allowed. Please bring water to drink. Please note: Court Ordered Volunteer Hours can’t be granted through this workday.

This event is capped at 10 people and intended for volunteers 16 & up.

This workday is pre-approved for MCPS SSL hours. SSL forms will be provided.
