Wassail All ‘Round the Farm

Ever go wassailing among the leaves so green? It’s not just a holiday tradition. Wassailing has been a harvest tradition among early American farmers for centuries. We’re going wassailing to the apple orchard at the Agricultural History Farm Park on Saturday, January 22, while singing, dancing, and sipping hot apple cider. While at the orchard, we’ll add bread to branches to attract birds and pour cider on the trees’ roots. This program begins and ends at a campfire. The program will have two sessions: 12 pm to 1:30 pm and 2 pm to 3:30 pm. Free drop-in program. No registration.
