Day Off From School, Volunteer Trail Workday

Looking for a fun and rewarding way to spend your time off from school?

Participate in an SSL-approved volunteer natural surface trail workday with Montgomery Parks staff!

Duties:
– Work alongside a trail professional who will teach you how to fix and/or create a natural surface trail
– Use tools to dig, cut, and smooth trail path
– May help move tools, supplies or debris

Requirements:
– Willingness to work as a team in an outdoor forest setting.
– Under 18 years old must have parental consent to volunteer.
– Wear closed-toe shoes and long pants
– Bring plenty of water.

All necessary tools will be provided.
