Kayaking on Great Seneca Lake
When MCPS is out of school, why not have your teen join us for an outdoor adventure! In this series, we’ll hike, kayak, and bike our way through some of the most interesting nature locales in our area! All programs begin and end at Maydale Nature Classroom and transportation is provided to and from each location. Sign up for one or all of the programs!
Join us as we explore the waters of Great Seneca Lake in kayaks! After a brief safety lesson (no prior experience is necessary), we’ll paddle in search of herons, beavers, and maybe even a bald eagle! We will supply the boats, paddles, and life vests. Please make sure to bring plenty of water, lunch, sunscreen, and extra shoes/clothes to change into after.
