Sunday Serenade

Join Montgomery Parks for a Free Sunday Morning Concert!

Bring your blanket and breakfast and join Montgomery Parks Sunday mornings this Fall with ‘Sunday Serenade’ for live music from 10:00 am – 11:30 am at Cabin John Regional Park’s Amphitheater (7400 Tuckerman Ln, Bethesda, MD 20817). Start your week relaxing on the lawn, listening to live music from The Dave Chappell Band. This show will take place on Sunday, October 8, 2023.

Audience members are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs for seating. Mark your calendars and click the dates below for more details on each performance.

About the Artist:

Dave Chappell, a DC native, is one of the most sought after and respected musicians in the area. He has performed with Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Legends Jerry Lee Lewis, Sam Moore of Sam & Dave, Percy Sledge, and another DC legend, Danny Gatton. Dave has won over 15 Washington Area Music Award (Wammies). Dave’s group is rounded out by several other highly acclaimed DC musicians, Tommy Lepson (NRBQ) on keys, Pete Ragusa (the Nighthawks) on drums, John Previti (Danny Gatton’s bassist) and Bruce Swaim on tenor sax.
