Sunday Serenade

Join Montgomery Parks for a Free Sunday Morning Concert!

Bring your blanket and breakfast and join Montgomery Parks Sunday mornings this Fall with ‘Sunday Serenade’ for live music from 10:00 am – 11:30 am at Cabin John Regional Park’s Amphitheater (7400 Tuckerman Ln, Bethesda, MD 20817). Start your week relaxing on the lawn, listening to live music from The Dixie Power Trio. This show will take place on Sunday, October 1, 2023.

Audience members are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs for seating. Mark your calendars and click the dates below for more details on each performance.

About the Artist:

The Dixie Power Trio (DPT) is a four-piece group dedicated to the music and sounds of Louisiana. They play a gumbo of different styles including zydeco, Cajun, New Orleans jazz, funk, street parade, and rock. The band, led by Zack Smith (cornet and accordionist) and Andy Kochenour on bass, also features Byron McWilliams on drums and Chuck Underwood on guitar. Over the past few years, the DPT has shared the concert stage with many Louisiana music luminaries including Wynton Marsalis, the Neville Brothers, Dr. John, Terrence Simien, Chubby Carrier, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, the Olympia Brass Band, and Beausoleil.
