CANCELED Parks Playhouse Junior: Silly Goose Goes Green

Learn about the environment with local artist Val Smalkin and her puppet friend, Silly Goose, with their special show Silly Goose Goes Green at the Adventure Playground located in South Germantown Recreational Park.

Silly Goose and ventriloquist, composer, and musician, Val Smalkin, celebrate the importance of bays in our ecological system with action songs and fun sing-a-longs. Rufus the Reluctant Dragon and Willie the Worm help us learn about runoff, recycling, and why Marianne was sifting sand on the seashore!

Event Information and Guidelines

• Address: 17920 Germantown Park Drive, Germantown, MD 20874
• Parking: Available at the Adventure Playground.
• Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets for seating.
• Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times.
• Restrooms available next to the parking lot.
