Park Cleanup hosted by Park Staff at Aspen Hill Local Park

Individual and family volunteers can join a cleanup hosted by Montgomery Parks and the Rock Creek Conservancy!

Helping to remove litter out of parks helps keep it out of streams and eventually the Potomac River and the Chesapeake Bay; and makes the environment healthy for plants, animals, and all of us!

**We are aiming remove 20-25 tires from the creek bed along the Rock Creek Trail.

**Please wear boots that can get wet or muddy. All other supplies is provided.

All volunteers must register online

Advice for the cleanup:

-Wear clothes that can get dirty and shoes that can potentially get wet.
-It’s always a good idea to bring water.
-Bags and gloves are provided.

Volunteers under 14 must participate with a registered adult.  All cleanups are pre-approved for SSL hours.

If you or anyone in your household are sick, waiting for Covid test results, and/or have tested positive for Covid (regardless of vaccination status) you are not eligible to volunteer at this time.
