Join Montgomery Parks for our Holiday BARKet!

Kick off the holiday season with your pup at the Park on Saturday, November 18, from 11 am – 2 pm. Bring your blanket and relax on the lawn as you listen to rock music by Capital Effect at the amphitheater stage. Pose with your dog and the Grinch and take home a fun photo memory. Enjoy cider, gluten-free beer and delicious food. Learn about local pet services. Pick up a few treats and treasures for holiday gift-giving to your pet-loving friends or their furry companions. Explore the Cabin John Regional Park Dog Park or opt for a calming, scenic walk around the park on the Cabin John Trail. The trail includes a loop around the event from the parking lot off Tuckerman Lane to the parking lot off Westlake Drive. This is event is FREE. All ages are welcome! Event Information and Guidelines

Location: Cabin John Regional Park
7400 Tuckerman Lane, Bethesda, MD 20817
The event will be held in the picnic area across from the Train Station.
Parking: Parking is available at the event in two large lots on either side of Cabin John Regional Park; one off Tuckerman Lane, and one off Westlake Drive.
Overflow parking can be found at 10600 Westlake Drive, Bethesda, MD 20817.
Restrooms: Standard restrooms are available onsite via indoor facilities. Fully accessible porta johns will be available.
Dog Park: The dog park will be open and is free to use.
Please refer to the Dog Parks Regulations.
Dogs must remain on a leash when outside of the dog park. Owners must clean up after their dogs at the event and inside the dog park. Owners with pets exhibiting aggressive behavior toward other dogs or humans at the event will be asked to remove their pet from the event space to ensure the safety of all attendees and their pups.
All Park Rules & Regulations are in place during this event.
Accessibility: Cabin John Regional Park has paved trails that are mostly smooth with variable width, slopes, and occasional unevenness.
Montgomery Parks Program Access will provide an accessible shuttle cart to transport patrons needing assistance from the parking lot to the main activities.
A sensory retreat tent will be on site to provide an area of respite for individuals who need a break from the elements or are feeling over-stimulated.
Accessible parking will be in the Tuckerman Lane parking lot.

Alcohol: Alcohol will be sold at this event and a valid form of identification is required for purchase.
Seating: Very limited seating will be available. Guests are encouraged to bring their own picnic blankets/chairs.
