Creek Cleanup with Friends of Cabin John Creek

Join the Friends of Cabin John Creek for a trash cleanup of Cabin John Creek and Trail

This is a volunteer event to pick up trash along the trail and creek to prevent it from floating down to the Potomac River and then into the Chesapeake Bay!

Directions: Meet at the Goya Drive – Cabin John Trail Trailhead at end of Goya Drive, Rockville/Potomac.  Close to Seven Locks Road near Montrose Rd in Potomac.  See Google Map.

• Pre-approved for MCPS SSL hours
• Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult supervisor.
• Montgomery Parks will provide the trash bags and work gloves (for you to keep).
• Note: There are no bathrooms at this park.

What You Need to Bring/Wear:

• Clothes that you don’t mind getting muddy
• Sturdy water shoes/sandals required (no flip flops). Be prepared to get your feet wet in the creek!
• Personal water bottle & snacks
