Balance and Mobility

Event Details

In our Balance & Mobility series, participants will work on balance related fitness and flexibility in a low-impact, energizing and fun way. We’ll work on various single leg movements, foot and ankle strength, base of support and center of gravity work. We will primarily stand and use chairs for these movements. After the 8 week series of classes, participants can expect to feel improvements in balance, foot and ankle stability, and overall confidence when walking and performing other daily movements. While this class is aimed at older adults focused on healthy aging, it’s never too early to add Balance & Mobility to your fitness routine! This class is created and led by Anna Poddar, Certified Personal Trainer, Senior Fitness and Functional Aging Specialist.

*NOTE: This is a series of eight Thursday classes. All classes in the series are included in the one registration fee. Classes in the series are not offered on an individual basis. Classes are held in the Clarksburg Neighborhood Park Activity Building located on park grounds. Registration is required. No walk-ins will be accepted.
