History Hour

History Hour Location: Josiah Henson Museum and Park 11410 Old Georgetown Road North Bethesda, MD 20852

This lecture series for adult audiences will feature local historians, educations and more as they share their knowledge of local and regional history. Each event will feature a new subject with a presentation that may include video, slide shows or other interpretive aides. For Black History Month, historian James Johnston, will present on “Differing Historical Perspectives on Slavery in Maryland and the District of Columbia.” Arrive early and take a self-guided tour of Josiah Henson and Park. Doors open at 5pm.

This is an adult program and will take place at the Josiah Henson Museum and Park visitor center. Refreshments provided. Admission, $5 per person. Tickets available onsite.
