Pumpkins and Pours

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Have you been looking for the perfect excuse to FALL into autumn? Do you like local craft beer, pumpkins, pizza, and more? If you’re thinking “YES” to any of these questions, look no further than Pumpkins and Pours, a free Montgomery Parks and Chevy Chase Village partnered event coming to you on October 16 at Western Grove Urban Park from 4 to 8 pm. This event is completely free, and no registration is required.

Join us at the park to enjoy beers from local brewery 7 Locks Brewing, delicious food from Flame and Cones Food Truck, and, while you’re at it, grab a FREE pumpkin from Maynes Tree Farm and get decorating! We will also have picnic seating available, along with various lawn games to get your competitive juices flowing. All ages are welcome, so please bring the whole family!

Entry to the park will be available only along Western Avenue, so please plan accordingly. Residential access to and from Grove Street to the park will be closed off. All guest identifications will be checked upon entry to the park, and only those 21 and older will be given wristbands for alcohol purchase. Vendors will also check identifications, and have the right to refuse service to any guest. Alcohol is not allowed to be consumed outside of the event space and must be discarded before leaving the event.

Getting to Western Grove Urban Park:

  • Street parking is available in the residential neighborhood, and paid parking is available at multiple Colonial Parking lots in the area.
  • The Friendship Heights metro station (Red Line) is a short 5 minute walk from the park.
