Wall Local Park

Potomac Community Neighborhood Park

Scope of work: Construction of an accessible sidewalk extension from the Falls Road bus stop into park.

Ridge Road Recreational Park

Scope of work: Phase 1- Addition of accessible parking spaces and walkways in Parking Lot 1, new walkway and bleachers for the soccer field. Phase 2 – Construction of accessibility improvements for the inline hockey rink as well as restroom upgrades and new drinking fountain.

Rock Creek Regional Park

Scope of work: Improved the accessibility at the archery range. A new parking area to the archery range will be installed in a later stage.

Rockwood Manor

Scope of work: Accessible parking and access to the Manor House and one cabin.

Seneca Landing Special Park – Poole’s Store

Scope of work: Interior and exterior renovations including interior spaces, accessible parking and access to the store.

South Germantown Recreational Park

Scope of work: Project 1 -Improved access to Fields 18-22 and restrooms, including parking and walkways Project 2- Construction and expansion of accessible archery range Project 3 – Renovation of picnic shelters B, C, D and horseshoe pits, along with improvements to the accessible parking spaces and walkway.

Scope of work Various walkways, a new patio and interior modifications in activity building, new drinking fountain, modified parking lot and porta john, stormwater management.

Wheaton Regional Park

Scope of work: Upgrades to athletic field one, construction of a new restroom building and appurtenances to serve the athletic field area. Renovations to the Wheaton Stables entrance and parking as well the addition of accessible benches.

Scope of work: Replacement of the railing along deck, new door, interior renovations to activity room and exhibit area

Scope of work: Parking and accessibility upgrades at Field 4. 

Ellsworth Urban Park

Scope of work: Install accessible parking, pathway and drinking fountain.

Glenmont Local Park

Scope of work: Interior renovations to the activity building New patio and minor entrance improvements were completed as well.

Hunters Woods Local Park

Scope of work: Improved access to shelter and basketball courts, provided new grills at the shelter,  renovated accessible parking spaces, porta john, walkway, and construction of a renovated playground.

Indian Springs Terrace Local Park

Scope of work: Construction of various accessibility improvements throughout the park including new walkways to the soccer field, playground, tennis and basketball courts, parking lot renovations, and the addition of new benches and a picnic area. Invasive vegetation was removed in conjunction with the project.

Meadowbrook Maintenance Yard

Scope of work: Constructed complaint parking and accessible pathway to the building entrance.

Ray’s Meadow Local Park

Scope of work: Construction of improved ramps and stairs into the park with a new accessible parking space. Provided an accessible soccer field with new benches, converted softball field to a multi-use field by removing the fence and adding new benches, along with accessible drinking fountain, and trail upgrades.

Rickman Horse Farm

Scope of work Various improvements at the park including accessibility and paving upgrades to better serve customers using the riding stable, barn, and adjoining building.

Sligo-Dennis Local Park

Scope of work: Interior activity building accessibility improvements and upgrades, and new accessible walkway from Sligo Creek Parkway as well as a renovated parking lot.

South Germantown Recreational Park Mini Golf

Scope of work: Improved accessibility within the Mini Golf course.

Southeast Olney Local Park

Scope of work: ADA upgrades to the parking, walkways, gazebo, and newly renovated playground, added a drinking fountain.

Scope of work: Renovation project to include a new accessible boathouse building with parking and accessible walkway to the beach.

Little Bennett Regional Park Campground

Scope of work:  Provided accessible parking spaces and walkway to newly renovated camp store at Hawk Reach Activity Center, installed a compliant ramping system for access to the new Yurts, and provided accessible walkways to jumping pillow, gaga pit, and pedal cart track.

Olney Manor Recreation Park

Scope of work: Provided parking renovations, new walkway and benches to Tennis Battery E and basketball courts.

Parklawn Local Park

Scope of work: New walkways and benches for soccer fields

Rock Creek Stream Valley Park

Scope of work: Installed three new accessible exercise stations along Beach Drive between Kensington Parkway and Old Spring Road.

South Germantown Recreational Park

Scope of work: Installed new exercise equipment stations and perform minor trail upgrades within/near the lake. Planted trees around the exercise station.

South Gunners Branch Local Park

Scope of work: Construction of ADA related improvements as part of a playground renovation project to provide parking, ramps, walkway, and access to the playground and basketball court.

Stratton Local Park

Scope of work: New parking and porta john pad, walkways, access to softball field, shelter, playground, tennis and basketball courts, stormwater management. Constructed a new point of access from Democracy Boulevard into the park.

Takoma-Piney Branch Local Park

Scope of work: Installed new walkway to softball field and new player’s benches.

Olney Manor Recreational Park

Scope of work: Improved accessible parking spaces for court sports: tennis, racquetball, handball, and volleyball. Added accessible route to Tennis Batteries A, B & C, racquetball and handball courts, and volleyball court. Replaced existing concrete pad at entrance and around tournament tennis court T.

Pleasant View Local Park

Scope of work: Improved trail/sidewalk and provide better accessibility to soccer/football field, provide minor storm water management upgrades

Plumgar Local Park

Scope of work: Playground renovation; remove backstop and barriers at play field.

Potomac Community Neighborhood Park

Scope of work: Provided accessibility improvements to parking, the tennis courts and basketball courts as well playground.

Ridge Road Recreational Park

Scope of work: Provided new accessible parking near the restroom and soccer/football field.

Sligo Creek Stream Valley Park Unit 3

Scope of work: Provided accessible parking and access to bleachers and soccer field, resurface and stripe parking lot.

Wheaton Regional Park

Scope of work: Parking and access upgrades near the train station/carousel as well as an expanded patio area in front of the drop off area.
