Project Description
This project renovates and replaces the playground in Willard Avenue Neighborhood Park, located at 4915 River Road, Bethesda, MD.
Background
The existing playground was removed and a completely new playground will be installed in its place. Local park playgrounds are typically 3,500 to 5,000 square feet in size and include playground equipment to meet the needs of children from ages 2 to 12. Typical types of equipment include swings, play structures, and smaller freestanding pieces of equipment such as spring rockers or spinning elements.
Status/Project Update
A public meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 28th, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Village Center, 4433 South Park Avenue, Chevy Chase, MD, to gather input and ideas from the community.
