The eGuide is easy to use, and saves trees! See the tips below for some of its helpful features, and print out the pages you want (and not the ones you don't!).

Print Guides still available for pickup

We know some folks prefer the paper Guide, so we’ll continue to print it. But in an effort to save money and the environment, we’ll print fewer copies. Print Guides will still be available at Recreation and Parks facilities, government buildings and libraries, while quantities last.

eGuide Tips and Special Features

  • You may need to download the latest version of Adobe Flash to view the Guides. It's fast and free.
  • To get started, click on the cover image of the eGuide you want, and let it load.

Once you're "inside" a Guide, you can...
  • Pick your VIEW: Go to the small button at bottom left of the Guide cover, and click on the pull-down menu to choose from three views:

    1. Book: Provides a two-page view, with pages that "turn" using the pointing hand icon. You can also click through the page numbers at the bottom of the pages.
    2. Scroll: View one page at a time using the scroll bar, page numbers at bottom, or the hand icon (click and hold left mouse button until it appears).
    3. Slides: View one page at a time using the pointer hand or page numbers.
    One more view option:
    4. Tile Mode: This is the small icon just to the right of the VIEW box (looks like a square made of squares). This is a quick way tosee as many as 16 Guide pages at once.

At the top left just above the Guide cover, you'll see Download, Print and Fullscreen.

  • DOWNLOAD: Click here to download and save the whole Guide or any part of it. Or look just above and you'll see "Download printable document" and the Adobe .pdf icon. This will work, too!
  • PRINT: Now you don't have to download the whole Guide to your computer to print pages from it. Just enter the page/s you want to print. Be sure to use the page numbering system of the viewer, not the numbers that appear on the Guide pages themselves.
  • FULLSCREEN: Click here to get a big, easy-to-read two-page spread of the Guide.
At the lower right-hand corner of the Guide cover you'll see the Search box.
  • SEARCH: Interested in trees, or tennis? Enter the word or phrase into the Search box, hit enter, and a box will appear that shows the number of "hits" for your word throughout the Guide. Click on "NEXT" to find each instance where your search word appears. You can also use the Search feature to go to a page number.
